Hwato Acupuncture Needles are manufactured in-house in the whole process from steel wire to finished products. The production bases are all in compliance with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Chinese State Drug Administration and the European regulatory bodies.

  Suzhou Production Base

  ‌Hwato‌, founded in 1862 with over 160 years of history, established ‌national standards‌ and ‌ISO international standards‌ for disposable acupuncture needles, and pioneered ‌industry standards‌ for three-edged/press needles.

  Danyang Production Base

  In 2021, the automated workshop for acupuncture needles was put into operation in Yuwell global production base, and Hwato entered the industry 4.0 era.
